About the maker: The name Growing Up Rooted came from an intention to help my daughters grow up feeling grounded. I鈥檝e often felt a bit like a kite, and over time I鈥檝e learned ways to feel centered. Some of my favorites are having a short but steady morning routine, gardening and working with herbs. I ran a small Nature School in my backyard when we lived up in the mountains, and with the support of that community I began sharing my remedies with others, which slowly grew into a business. Gardening, herbalism and entrepreneurship have become pillars for me and the places where I shine as a homeschooling mother. - Daniela Rey
