About the maker:听Soil to Studio is a Brooklyn based textile design studio dedicated to creating slow textiles with the craft communities in India. Founded by our friend Swati Bansal in 2019, Soil to Studio鈥檚 mission is to empower the families behind the craft, preserve local craftsmanship, and continue to create sustainable livelihoods. Each design is a collaboration in integrating time-honored techniques with modern design to create simple handcrafted goods for everyday living.
